وقد شارك الفنان في معرض "مانشيت بالألوان" بلوحة زيتية ساحرة على كانفاس بمقاس (60×80 سم)، تحمل عنوان "البنت والقطة" (The girl and the cat). وتتجلى في هذا العمل قدرة الفنان الفائقة على التقاط النظرات البريئة للملامح الطفولية وملمس الفراء الأبيض الناعم للقطة، وسط تناغم لوني جذاب يعتمد على التباين بين الخلفية الداكنة والضوء المسلط على الأشكال، مما يمنح اللوحة بعداً درامياً ونفسياً يلامس قلوب المشاهدين مباشرة.

Graduating from the Technical Architectural Institute in 1985, Ahmed Elafify's extensive professional background in engineering and construction has deeply influenced his structural precision and the rigid compositional harmony of his artworks. Following a 30-year hiatus, El-Afifi made a powerful return to the fine art scene, presenting an extraordinary expressive realism that masterfully blends charcoal, pencil, and oil painting.
